Jill Hennessy

Her mixed heritage includes Irish italians, Swedish, Italians, Frenchs, and Ukrainians. Jacqueline is her twin sister, and is an actor. Jill began to master different languages, including Italian, French, Spanish while growing as a child. She began her journey into acting around the age of twelve. She began her acting career in Toronto as she was the escort for David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her younger sister. She then studied improv comedy with Second City under Deb Kimmet. Then, two years later relocated into New York and signed a deal for the role of Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the long running hit series, Law & Order. The actress also appeared in films like RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) throughout her three-year period. Her work was featured in a couple of boring films during the subsequent several years before securing her a leading role in the 1999 miniseries uremberg which was co-produced by Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York, Exit Wounds and other major productions would follow. Her first lead role was of the NBC crime show Crossing Jordan in 2001. In 2007, she received the Gracie Allen Award for "Outstanding female lead in a drama series" in recognition of her work on the series. She got married in 2000 to fellow actor Paolo Mastropietro.
